Princeton woman seriously injured in wreck

PRINCETON, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that seriously injured a Princeton woman in Mercer County.

The Patrol says 85-year-old Virginia Schilling was driving a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero on Route FF around 8:50 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities say she failed to yield to oncoming traffic when entering 136 Highway.

A 2018 Ford F-150 slammed into the Alero. Schilling was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. Schilling was wearing her seat belt. The driver of the Ford wasn't injured.
